Sunday Services

Norton Methodist Church is on North Avenue, SG6 1DH and has a Sunday service at 9.30am
Central Methodist Church is on Pixmore Way, SG6 3TR and has a Sunday service at 10.45am

A steward will welcome everyone at the start of the service. Our services are led by our minister, Reverend Emmanuel Onabanjo, or one of local Methodist preachers (members of our congregations or the local Methodist Circuit). We offer a variety of styles of service, but they usually include hymns, prayers, and a sermon. Holy Communion is shared in a monthly service. Hymn books and service books (including wording we follow in particular services) are available. At Central the words and order of service are often projected onto screens. The Central service is also live-streamed on Zoom.

Children are always welcome and we have a Junior Church at Central. For more information about what is available for children and young people please visit the Junior Church page.

Occasionally there are joint services where the congregations meet together at one of the churches. These, and details of all services, are shown on the North Herts Methodist Circuit Preaching Plan.

We enjoy a variety of music to accompany our worship including organ, recorded music and a worship band at Central.
